What's the real difference between this full-color camera and a regular IR camera?

Regular IR cameras switch to black and white at night. This one keeps color, so you can see vehicle paint, warning labels, or clothing color—useful for identifying what actually happened.

Does it work in complete darkness? How?

Yes. It has an F1.0 lens that pulls in more light, plus a soft fill light. It doesn't blast bright IR like traditional cameras, so the image stays natural but still colored.

Is the explosion proof certificate available? Which standard?

Yes. Marking is Ex db IIC T6 Gb and Ex tb IIIC T80°C Db. Covers Zone 1 and Zone 2 gas and dust environments. We can send you a copy.

Can I use this outdoors in cold or hot weather?
