Explosion-Proof Structure Design

Adopts a split dual-cavity side-by-side explosion-proof layout specially customized for a dual-lens layout, independent isolated flameproof cabins separately for a thermal module, a visible optical assembly, and a PTZ power drive; a side single G3/4 standard flameproof cable inlet with internal separated wiring trough, and full-circle high-temperature silicone compression sealing to achieve IP68 protection; a thickened flange base with multi-position fixing holes and a detachable sunshade + an automatic wiper integrated structure; an exclusive dual-chamber shell avoids the common single-cavity dome design of an ordinary explosion-proof PTZ.

What is the advantage of dual-sensor thermal over single IR PTZ?

Single IR PTZ only sees reflected light—it fails in smoke, fog, or complete darkness. The thermal sensor detects heat directly. It sees through smoke and bad weather, and it measures temperature. You get a fire warning before flames appear.

What is the real temperature measurement range and accuracy?

-20°C to 550°C, with ±2°C or ±2% FS accuracy. That is enough to detect pipeline hot spots, bearing overheating, or early-stage spontaneous combustion in storage tanks.

Does the thermal lens come fixed, or can I zoom?

The thermal lens is fixed focus—you choose from 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, or 75mm when ordering. The visible lens has 25X optical zoom for fine detail. For most site patrols, 35mm or 50mm thermal works well.
